The Chocolate Works Care Village believe that in later life, the place you call home is every bit as important as the care you receive. But what happens when a loved one is finding it increasingly difficult to cope at home without assistance?
Living in a care home doesn’t have to mean you need professional care, but it does mean that care is available 24 hours a day to support you in a way that is tailored to your needs, so you can live as full and as independent a life as possible.
The Chocolate Works provides accommodation set in a truly unique and lovingly restored building. Our carefully designed spaces blend quality fixtures and detailing with practical fittings, such as an en-suite wet room. You can choose a room with cooking facilities and space to entertain if that’s an important element of maintaining independence to you. It really is up to you, we are simply here to provide as little or as much help and support as you need.
When we say this is a village, we mean it. A fabulous 450m2 glass roofed atrium features a sweet shop, Albert’s Café, a nail bar, a hairdressing salon, a spa and even a fully licensed pub – The Duke of York. The Chocolate Works also has its own on-site cinema room, gym and is able to offer a wide range of enrichment activities with regular visits from our Pets As Therapy (PAT) dogs, all of which are guaranteed to bring friends together and smiles to everyone’s faces.
At Springfield Healthcare our focus is family, everyone matters and we really care. Residents, visitors, colleagues, our job is to care and that’s what we do.
