We use only the finest quality Belgian couverture chocolate.

What chocolate can I have?
There is a range of chocolate types available. The most popular
is milk, followed by dark then white. There is also a range of flavoured
chocolate available including strawberry, lemon, orange, cappuccino,
caramel and our special blend on milk & dark.

Do you ever re-use chocolate?
We never use chocolate left over from other rentals. We are more
than happy to leave you with any chocolate left at the end of your
rental if suitable bowls are provided.

What dippers are available?
The list of dipping items is endless and only limited by your imagination.
Items not suitable for dipping can have chocolate poured over! A

Can I supply my own dippers?
Yes and our prices would be adjusted accordingly. We would ask
that you check with us first to ensure that the dippers you are
providing are suitable for use with a chocolate fountain. Allowing
us to provide a complete service can guarantee you a stress free
event. At Chocolate Works we pride ourselves on the presentation
of our chocolate fountain and accompanying dippers. This includes
providing a wide range of quality dipping items purchased fresh
on the day of the event and served on attractive tableware with
matching napkins together with suitable skewers.

Who will operate the chocolate fountain?
All our fountains come with fully trained, uniformed operators
who will set up the fountain ensuring a perfect flowing chocolate
fountain. They will present the dippers using attractive tableware
and ensure that the table is kept presentable throughout your event.
They will also be happy to demonstrate 'fountain etiquette' to ensure
drip free dipping for your guests! At the end of your event our
operators will clean and remove the fountain.

What do I need to provide?
A 13 amp 240v power supply is needed. A clear space of approximately
2m², away from any draughts, is required to set up and run the fountain
successfully. Parking for one vehicle needs to be arranged or paid
for.

How long does it take to set up the chocolate
fountain presentation?
It usually takes between 60-90 minutes depending on which option
you have chosen and whether or not we are supplying the dippers
and tableware.

Am I able to extend the running time of the
chocolate fountain?
Yes. Additional hire time is charged at £50 per hour or part of
including chocolate. Extra dippers are also available at an extra
cost.

Will my venue allow me to hire a chocolate
fountain?
To date, we have never been refused at any venue.

How far do you travel?
All our prices quoted include the cost of travel up to a distance
of 75 miles from Basingstoke, Hampshire. Additional miles will be
charged at 65p per mile. For example if your event is 100 miles
from Basingstoke you will be charged for an additional 25 miles
at 65p.

My Venue has asked if you carry Public Liability
Insurance, Food Hygiene Certification and has you equipment been
tested?
Chocolate Works Limited carry public liability insurance up to
£5,000,000. All our operators carry foundation certification in
food hygiene. All our electrical equipment carries current Portable
Appliance Testing certificates.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A £100 non-returnable deposit is required to confirm any booking.
